Vice-President of Afghanistan Amrullah Saleh commented on the negotiations with the Taliban and urged not to turn the country into a Talibanistan.
The politician also added that he rejects dictatorship to govern and a violent seizure of power.
“We do not want Afghanistan to turn into a Talibanistan, this will not happen, but this is what the Taliban wants. We prefer negotiations, but they must be meaningful. We reject the emirate; we reject the dictatorship and the seizure of power by force,” he said in an interview with India Today.
Saleh also called the statements about the partial capture of the Afghan province of Panjshir by the Taliban, where the main forces of resistance to the new government are concentrated nonsense.
