The Eurovision song contest will be held in 2021 in Rotterdam, according to the organizers of the event.
“The European Broadcasting Union and the organizers of the contest in the Netherlands are happy to announce that they have decided to hold Eurovision in 2021 in Rotterdam,” the statement reads.
Eurovision organizers decided to cancel the contest in 2020 due to the problematic epidemiological situation around the world.
According to the rules, this year’s songs cannot be presented at Eurovision next year in any case, and the choice of artists from each country is left to the broadcasters. Instead of a full-fledged competition, the organizers decided to hold a musical show with performers from different countries.
