The US said that the use of force on the border of Venezuela will not go unpunished

The press service of the White house reported that the US condemns the use of Venezuelan military force against civilians on the border with Brazil, and said that it will not go unpunished.

“The United States strongly condemns the use of Venezuelan military force against unarmed civilians and innocent volunteers on Venezuela’s border with Brazil,” FREE NEWS reported.

It is noted that this is “a flagrant violation of human rights by Maduro and those who follow his orders will not go unpunished.”
According to media reports, two indigenous people were killed and several of those trying to keep the border with Brazil open for the delivery of humanitarian aid were injured.

Earlier it became known that the Venezuelan authorities closed the border with Brazil. This decision was taken in anticipation of the beginning of deliveries of humanitarian assistance from the United States.
