The US reacted to rumors about the agreement with Iran

The US State Department denied the signing of an agreement with Iran on the exchange of prisoners.

The authorities stressed that the information about the achievement of the agreement is not true.

“As we have said, we always raise questions about detained or missing Americans in Iran. We will not stop until we can reunite them with their families,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said.

Earlier, the Lebanese TV channel al-Mayadeen reported, citing Iranian sources, that the United States and Iran allegedly intend to exchange detained citizens. It was also reported that the United States is ready to unlock the frozen Iranian assets of $ 7 billion.
