This will allow some American companies not to be subject to the ban imposed by the US administration earlier in 2019.
WASHINGTON -The US administration has extended for another 90 days the license allowing us companies to supply Chinese telecommunications Corporation Huawei products that do not affect the national security of the United States. This is stated in the statement published on Monday by the US Department of Commerce in the electronic database of the US Federal register (a collection of official documents of the US government).
“The US government has decided to extend until February 16, 2020, the temporary General license of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.”, – it is noted in the document.
The extension of the license will allow some American companies not to be subject to a ban imposed by the US administration earlier this year. The licenses are intended to be a goodwill gesture that can stimulate US-China trade and economic negotiations. The previous temporary license granted to Huawei by the US authorities expired on Monday.
