The US is ready to conclude quickly trade agreements with Britain after “Brexit”

Assistant to the US President for national security John Bolton said that the country wants a partnership with the “new independent Britain”.

The US is ready to start negotiations after “Brexit” and quickly conclude new trade agreements with the UK. This was stated on Tuesday in an interview with the British TV channel Sky News by assistant to the US President for national security John Bolton.

“We look forward to the visit of foreign trade Minister Liam Fox and any other member of the British government, we can make deals quickly. We’re ready. We want a partnership with a new independent Britain,” Bolton said.

According to Bolton, the head of the White House Donald Trump, believes that the “change of status” of the UK will open great opportunities for both countries, and is waiting for British politicians to “implement” what the British voted for in the referendum of 2016 on the withdrawal of the Kingdom from the EU.

Earlier, the British Parliament supported the government’s proposal to postpone the date of the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union to a later date. Now the British government should send a request to the EU to postpone “Brexit”.
