The US is concerned about the extreme surge of COVID in India and promised help

The United States intends to provide additional support to India due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the country, said US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

“We sympathize with the Indian people who are in the midst of a terrible outbreak of COVID-19. We are working closely with our partners, and we will provide additional support to the people of India and the Indian heroes from the health services,” the diplomat wrote on Twitter. The number of new cases of coronavirus infection in India has recently jumped sharply. So, if the daily growth rate was about 100 thousand infected at the beginning of this month, then on April 24, this figure approached 346 thousand.
