The US imposes new sanctions on Iran

The US has imposed sanctions on Iranian citizens and four companies linked to Iranian intelligence and the Hezbollah movement, the US Treasury said on Thursday.

The list of sanctions for terrorism and cybercrime included forty-six people, mostly Iranian citizens and one Lebanese, whom the US suspects had links to Iranian intelligence and the Hezbollah movement, which Washington considers a terrorist organization.

Also, the list includes four companies, including Lebanese Arch Consulting and Meammar Construction.
