Republicans of the influential house judiciary Committee and the oversight and reform Committee have called on Committee chairs Jerrold Nadler and Carolyn Maloney to investigate alleged mistakes and misconduct in the US presidential election, Fox News reported.
According to the TV channel, the letter was sent to the committees’ heads by high-ranking house Republicans Jim Jordan and James Comer.
“We urge you to immediately organize a hearing to test the integrity of the 2020 election amid disturbing reports of irregularities and fraud,” the letter said.
Jordan and Comer called on fellow Democrats to work together to schedule a hearing “as soon as possible.”
The letter states that Congress must conduct a review “to ensure that Americans believe in the integrity of our elections.”
