The US has prepared a draft that restricts the actions of the Federal police

Senators Bernie Sanders and Jeff Merkley have prepared a bill restricting the actions of the US Federal police and requiring police to wear insignia.

“Together with a Senator (a Democrat) Jeff Merkley of Oregon, I am introducing a bill that will significantly restrict the activities of the Federal military in our municipalities,” Sanders wrote in an address to supporters.

According to him, the bill will limit the ability of the feds to control gatherings of people outside of Federal facilities without the appropriate permission of the Governor and mayor. Also, the document will require Federal agents to wear visible insignia and prohibit them from using unmarked cars to detain people.

This, as the Senator noted, was the case in the city of Portland in Oregon, where “Federal law enforcement agencies” were involved. Earlier, law enforcement officers were seen in some other US cities.
