The United States has shared its concerns with India in connection with its agreement with Russia on the supply of Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in an interview with the Times of India newspaper, which was published on the State Department’s website.
“We have our own laws. We apply our own laws, but we have shared with India our concerns about this. But I’m not going to run ahead. We will see how events will develop in the coming months,” Blinken said, answering a question about the S-400.
Earlier, the Indian ambassador to the Russian Federation, Datla Bala Venkatesh Varma, confirmed that the first batch of S-400 air defense systems would arrive in India by 2021.
