US GDP fell by a record 3.5% last year, while the US economy grew by 4.1% year-on-year in the last quarter of 2020. This follows from the updated data of the Ministry of Trade published on Thursday.

The Ministry of Trade published preliminary data for this period at the end of January. The fall in GDP in 2020 was also estimated at 3.5%, which was the worst indicator since the Second World War.
