The United States is considering expanding the list of countries that will be supplied with American fighters of the fifth generation F-35. The list may include Singapore, Greece, Romania, Spain and Poland. Information about this is contained in the written testimony of Vice Admiral Matthias Winter (curate in the Pentagon the program of creation F-35), sent to the US House of Representatives.
This week, the Pentagon threatened to stop supplying Turkey with equipment and spare parts under the contract for the purchase of F-35, while Ankara will not abandon plans to purchase Russian anti-aircraft systems S-400. The Russian foreign Ministry believes that the US requirements are based on economic interest.
Later, Turkish foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoglu said that the issue of acquisition of s-400 systems from Russia is closed.
