The US called constructive the next round of trade talks between Washington and Beijing

The US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said he was looking forward to the Chinese delegation in the US capital.

The next round of the China-US trade talks that ended in Beijing was constructive. The head of the Ministry of Finance wrote on Friday on his Twitter page.

“The United States representative on trade negotiations [Robert Lighthizer] and I made constructive talks in Beijing. I look forward to meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the state Council of China Liu Khe to continue these important discussions in Washington next week,” Mnuchin said.

On Thursday, the US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and the US trade negotiator Robert Lighthizer arrived in China for a two-day trade talks. For the next round, the Chinese delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the state Council of China Liu Khe will arrive in Washington on April 3.
