The United States was transferred to Romania attack drones

The US Air Force’s command has transferred reconnaissance strike uncrewed aerial vehicles of the US Air Force MQ-9 Reaper and about 90 military personnel to the Romanian city of Campia Turzii.

“The US Air Force has deployed MQ-9 Reaper aircraft and about 90 Air Force personnel to the 71st Air Base in Campia Turzii, Romania, to conduct information gathering, surveillance and intelligence in support of NATO operations,” the US Air Force Europe and Africa Command said in a statement.

At the same time, it is not specified for what time drones and military personnel are deployed in Romania. Such steps are “encouraging to allies and partners,” General Jeffrey Harrigian said. The US noted that drones and military personnel’s deployment aim to strengthen relations between NATO allies “and other European partners.”
