The United States expressed solidarity with the Czech Republic in its response to Russia’s actions

Secretary Blinken stressed that the recent actions of Prague have contributed to improving the security of the Czech Republic and NATO.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stressed the United States ‘solidarity with the Czech Republic in its courageous response to “Russia’s subversive and deadly actions” on Czech territory, State Department spokesman Ned Price said on Sunday.

Blinken said this in a telephone conversation with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis on Sunday.

Blinken and Babish stressed the need for unity and determination in response to Russia’s destabilizing actions. “The decision of the Czech government to exclude Rosatom from the tender for the Dukovany nuclear power plant and a serious reduction in the presence of Russian intelligence in Prague has strengthened the security of the Czech Republic and the NATO alliance,” Price said in a statement.
