The U.S. stock market collapsed

On Monday, November 19, the US stock market fell. Most of all, high-tech companies, including Facebook and Apple, have fallen in price. The three major indices fell by more than 1.5 %. And the index of high-tech companies NASDAQ fell by 3 %.

Facebook shares are getting cheaper due to fears of investors. It associated with new penalties due to data leakage of users. Apple faced a drop in demand for its products. Nvidia has reduced revenues due to falling demand on the graphics card side of crypto currency miners.

Market uncertainty is amplified by trade wars between the US and China and the US and the European Union. Another reason is the likely further rise in the US FED rates. The rise in the price of money traditionally leads to an outflow of funds from stocks and other risky assets. In such circumstances, investors are more willing to buy debt securities.
