The Taliban revealed a plan in case of failure of the agreement with the United States

The Taliban movement has made it clear to the United States that it does not intend to compromise on the issue of the timing of the withdrawal of the US military contingent from Afghanistan.

So, the representative of the movement, Zabiullah Mujahid told that if the agreement on the withdrawal of troops is violated, “the Afghans, in this case, will make their own decision.”

Earlier on Wednesday, US President Joe Biden noted that the Americans would be able to withdraw from Afghanistan before May 1, but it will be “difficult” to do so.

A year ago, then-US leader Donald Trump agreed with the Taliban to withdraw military units from the Islamic Republic to stop attacks on US targets.

The relevant agreement was signed in Doha on February 29, 2020. The document stipulates that foreign military personnel must leave the territory of Afghanistan before May 1.
