The Taliban asked the U.S. to hand over the frozen assets of Afghanistan

The Taliban movement is asking the United States to give them about $ 10 billion of frozen funds of Afghanistan, Shamshad News channel reports, citing a member of the movement, Khalil al-Rahman Haqqani, who was appointed acting minister for Refugees in the interim government of Afghanistan on Tuesday.

It is noted that the Taliban also call for the transfer of billions of dollars allocated earlier to help Afghanistan and rehabilitate the country to the country. Haqqani also called on the United States and the United Nations to exclude the names of the Taliban leaders from the sanctions lists.

Earlier it was reported that the United States in August froze reserves belonging to the government of Afghanistan in American banks.
