The Taliban announced the complete capture of Panjshir province

The Taliban has occupied the entire territory of Afghanistan, the movement’s representative, Zabihullah Mujahid, said on Twitter.

“The last stronghold of the mercenary enemies, Panjshir Province, has been completely captured <…> Recent efforts to ensure complete security in the country have also brought results, and Panjshir province has come under the full control of the Islamic Emirate (the self-name of the Taliban political system),” the publication says.

He added that some rebels were defeated in the battles, others fled.

Residents were assured that there would be no harassment.
