The sixth fleet of the US Navy will participate in the summer maneuvers of NATO and its partners in the Black Sea

WASHINGTON-5,000 people, 32 ships, and 40 aircraft will take part in the Sea Breeze exercise.

The sixth fleet of the US Navy will take part in the NATO maneuvers with the participation of Ukraine Sea Breeze in the Black Sea. According to the fleet command on its website, 5 thousand people, 32 ships, and 40 aircraft units will take part in the exercises.

Sea Breeze-2021 is scheduled for the period from June 28 to July 10. The report indicates that the number of “participating or supporting” States will be the largest this year (32). These include non-NATO countries. The organizers of the maneuvers are Ukraine and the United States.

The exercises, according to the command of the 6th fleet, are aimed at “strengthening the capabilities of participants to conduct the entire range of sea and land operations.” The goal is to “improve the interaction and military capabilities of the participating countries”.
