The recount confirmed the victory of Biden in Wisconsin

A recount of votes in two Wisconsin counties confirmed the victory of Democrat Joe Biden, the Washington Post wrote.

A recount in Dan and Milwaukee counties showed that in the “key swing” state, Biden beat incumbent President Donald Trump by more than 20,000 votes.

Thus, the advantage of the candidate from the Democratic Party is 87 electoral votes.

The Trump headquarters demanded the recount of votes in Wisconsin. The Election Commission granted the request, but under state law, the Republican candidate’s campaign paid three million dollars for the procedure.

Trump does not recognize Biden’s victory in the presidential election, which is indicated by preliminary data and challenges the courts’ results.
