The cryptocurrency data aggregator’s previous maximum value was recorded on December 16, 2017 — at $19,665. 39.
Different services give different maximum values of quotes for the first cryptocurrency: CoinMarketCap has a price of $20,089, which bitcoin has not yet reached today.
The record price of bitcoin also differs on the largest exchanges.
For example, on Bitstamp, it surpassed the previous high of $19,666, surpassing $19,870.
On Binance, quotes at the moment rose to $19 883,33, with the previous record high of $19,660. The historical maximum of bitcoin was also updated on Kraken and Huobi.
Glassnode analysts reminded me that this is when all bitcoins in circulation become profitable, regardless of the purchase price.
