The prequel to “Game of Thrones” will be written by the screenwriter of “The Mist”

HBO and George Martin, the channel’s producer, are planning two Game of Thrones prequels at once. If information about the “House of the Dragon” is readily shared, then the second series is still a dark horse.

The project “10,000 ships” has officially acquired a scriptwriter. The plot is adapted by Amanda Siegel, who became famous for her work on the series “The Mist”, “Shooter” and “Person of Interest”.

The plot starts a thousand years before the events of “Game of Thrones”. The series will focus on Princess Nymeria, who travels with the Roynars to Dorn, where she eventually marries Lord Morse Martell. The plot cannot be called a novelty – all this was mentioned in the books of the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series.

Many critics believe that HBO is experimenting with its viewers. It is planned that several more prequels will be launched into production, and only rated projects will be extended.
