The premiere of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” postponed until 2021

There are no official announcements from Disney Studios yet, but attentive viewers have noticed that on the Disney+ website on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier page, the premiere date has changed from 2020 to 2021. Apparently, the postponement is due to the delays that accompanied the production of the series. In January, filming had to be suspended in Puerto Rico due to an earthquake, and in March filming was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. At the moment, production is resumed, but it is not known at what stage it is.

JustJared has shared with readers a selection of photos from Atlanta, Georgia, where the series is being filmed. Sebastian Stan was captured in the role of the Winter Soldier during the filming of the next scene. In the scene, Bucky Barnes is rolling out on a motorcycle with some kind of custom face shield over the steering wheel. Journalists noticed that Bucky’s bionic hand lacks a five-pointed star as a reminder that Soviet scientists created his hand. Thus, the character’s image is closer to the times of the defense of Wakanda, shown in the films “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame”.

Although it is not known exactly when MCU fans will expect the series to be released next year, their anticipation should be brightened up by the recent news that the WandaVision series will be released before the end of this year.
