The plane with the Russian delegation and journalists landed in Geneva

The plane with the Russian delegation and journalists of the Kremlin pool landed in Geneva, the delay was about an hour since the airliner had to circle in the air while waiting for permission to land.

On the approach to the city, the flight attendant announced to those on board that the liner was put in the waiting area; it will be about an hour. After that, the plane “Russia” began to circle in the sky over Lake Geneva, making several dozen turns. After some time, the crew received permission to land and the airliner began to descend, after which it landed safely at the Geneva airport.

The delegation and journalists flew to Geneva to work on June 16 at the first meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Joe Biden. Apparently, the delay in the landing was due to the arrival of the US President in Switzerland. The Russian head of state will fly to Geneva tomorrow just before the talks.
