The Pentagon headquarters are switching to remote work

The US Department of Defense increases the level of protection in the main building (the Pentagon) and transfers some employees to remote work because of the coronavirus pandemic, said the head of the Department Mark Esper.

“Today, we are raising the Pentagon’s security level to the” C – Charlie” level , which limits the number of entry points to the Pentagon and increases the number of employees who work remotely,” Esper said at a press conference.

The “C” level is “significant” and the second-to-last (4 out of 5) on the US Department of Defense scale for the degree of protection of military personnel, employees, and their families.
