The number of victims of a landslide in India has increased to 25

Twenty-five people were killed in the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra, Mumbai, as a result of a landslide, the Hindustan Times newspaper reports, and citing authorities.

Earlier, the ANI agency reported 17 dead when a landslide caused the collapse of walls in some slums in the Chembur district.

As the newspaper notes, heavy rains led to the descent of the landslide.
