The number of people infected with coronavirus in the world has exceeded 7 million

More than 7 million cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded worldwide, according to data from the Johns Hopkins University research center for systems science and engineering (CSSE) on the morning of June 8. More than 3.1 million people were cured, and more than 402,000 people died.

The most significant number of infected people was recorded in the United States-1.94 million people; there were more than 110 thousand deaths and recovered-more than 506 thousand people.

Brazil is the second most infected country. In the country, more than 691 thousand cases of coronavirus infection were detected, more than 36 thousand people became victims, and more than 283 thousand people recovered.

Russia still ranks third in the world for detected COVID-19 cases. In the country, there are more than 467 thousand infected, more than 5.8 thousand dead, and more than 226 thousand cured.
The fourth place in the world in terms of the number of infected people in the UK — more than 287 thousand cases of infection and more than 40 thousand deaths.

India is in fifth place. In the country, more than 257 thousand infected with coronavirus were detected, more than 7 thousand died, and more than 123 thousand recovered.
