The new iPad Pro is already in short supply – even before the start of sales

Even before the official announcement of the new iPad Pro models, sources said that tablets would be in short supply. And it looks like these rumors were true.

Apple began accepting pre-orders for both iPad Pros yesterday. Initially, the delivery date was indicated from May 21 to May 27, but now the dates have shifted. The 12.9-inch tablet in versions with 128, 256, 512 GB, and 1 TB is promised to be delivered only between June 24 and July 8.

But the model with 2 TB of memory, which is the most expensive and costs $ 2200, will come to those who pre-ordered earlier – in the period from 2 to 9 June.

In the meantime, the 11-inch iPad Pro is still available for purchase and will ship to customers by May 27th.

Most likely, the deficit is associated with the difficulties in the production of mini-LED displays, which are equipped with older models.

Recall that both versions received proprietary M1 processors, an adaptive screen refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 12-megapixel front camera with a 122-degree viewing angle, a dual main camera with a LiDAR scanner, support for 5G and Thunderbolt.
