President Donald Trump has announced the resignation of the US Secretary of the interior Ryan Zinke, which will happen before the end of the year. “The Secretary of Interior Ryan Zinke will leave the administration at the end of the year, having worked for almost two years,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter.
President thanked Mr. Zinke for his service to his country, noting that he “has achieved a lot during his work.” The name of the new Minister Donald Trump promised to call next week.
Earlier, the US President spoke about possible personnel changes in the administration. By the end of the year, the head of the White house administration, John Kelly, should also resign. Possible successor Nick Ayers, who headed the administration of the Vice President of the United States, refused the offer to move to his place. Now President is considering the candidacy of his son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner for the post of head of the White house staff.
