The US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN may meet in Hanoi, Bloomberg reports citing the South Korean newspaper Munhwa Ilbo. According to the newspaper, representatives of the US and North Korea have already met in the capital of Vietnam and discussed the timing of the summit.
In early January, Donald Trump said he expects a new meeting with Kim Jong-UN. Negotiations may take place in January or February 2019. On January 6, the US President said that the parties were discussing the venue of the summit.
Recall, the first meeting of Donald Trump and Kim Jong-UN was held on June 12, 2018 in Singapore. Following the summit, Korea has made commitments for the denuclearization of the Peninsula in response by the United States provided security guarantees.
