The man faked his own kidnapping so as not to go to work

In the US state of Arizona, police arrested a 19-year-old man named Brandon Souls after he claimed to have been kidnapped, the local TV channel ABC15 reports.

Police found Souls on February 10 with his hands tied behind his back and a bandana in his mouth near the water tower. He told the police that two masked men abducted him – they hit him on the head and then dragged him into a car and drove him for some time.

As a result of the investigation, the police found no evidence of the kidnapping. Video footage also did not show Soules was hit in the head and kidnapped. According to the man, this kidnapping was alleged because his father had hidden a large amount of money in the city. As a result, Soules was arrested for making a false statement to the police, and the man invented this story so as not to go to work at a tire factory. As a result, he was fired.
