British resident Dan Morton complained of heartburn and died 20 minutes later, the Mirror writes.
The 31-year-old man began experiencing stomach pain when visiting his sister on February 1. He thought it was heartburn and took medicine. But then he got worse: first, he had a seizure, then he stopped breathing.
Morton’s sister tried to give him artificial respiration, but after 20 minutes he died. “When he came to the house, he was fine, and five minutes later he began to complain of heartburn. He carried his daughter to the top floor, and then went downstairs and took a pill,” she said.
Later, doctors discovered an arterial blockage in the man, in which his chances of survival were 12 per cent. At the same time, Morton did not have any symptoms of the disease.
