Experts from XDA Developers talked about the differences between the operating systems Windows 11 Pro and Windows 11 Home. The home edition will receive more modest functionality, but it will still be able to satisfy the needs of the bulk of users.
First, Windows 11 Home will be slightly cheaper. The cost will be $ 140. The professional edition will cost $ 200. At the same time, Windows 10 owners will be able to update the operating system for free.
To install Windows 11 Home, you will need to have a network connection and have to get a Microsoft account. But then you can safely delete the account, leaving only the local account. The home version of the OS will remain without support for the hardware virtualization system Hyper-V and Windows Sandbox.
Windows 11 Home will be limited in RAM (up to 128 GB) and will only run on single-socket systems with only one processor with no more than 64 cores. Windows 10 Pro, in turn, will receive support for 128-core CPUs, and the maximum amount of RAM will be increased to 2 TB. Other differences mainly relate to the professional use of the operating system.
