Lenovo has confirmed that in July it will release a new gaming smartphone called Lenovo Legion. Today, July 8, the phone was tested in the AnTuTu benchmark, where it showed an excellent result of 648,871 points. This is the highest result in the ranking. What test did the phone pass?
The new smartphone has been tested in the AnTuTu application – this is a complete system for testing the performance of a smartphone or tablet that evaluates various parameters: usability, processor power, RAM performance, GPU capabilities, and external memory speed.
The program measures the device by internal indicators and then gives its value.
- Less than 40,000 points are the middle and lower parts of the budget segment.
- From 40,000 to 70,000 points – the upper part of the budget and the lower part of the middle segment.
- From 70,000 to 100,000 points – the middle and upper parts of the middle segment.
- From 100,000 to 140,000 points are sub-flags and flagships of the past year.
- Above 140,000 points are the current flagship smartphones.
For testing, an application developed by the owners of the resource and available for free download on Google Play and other software stores is used.
Lenovo Legion scored 648,871 points in the AnTuTu benchmark. In the processor test, the smartphone received 187 401 points, in the GPU test – 246 980 points, the memory scored 114 314 points, and in the UX test – 114 314 points. Note that Lenovo Legion surpassed the result of Asus ROG Phone 3, which scored 646 310 points in AnTuTu.
What characteristics of the device are known?
Judging by the record in the AnTuTu database, the device, codenamed L79031, received a chipset with 1 core 3.09 GHz Kryo 585 Prime, 3 core 2.42 GHz Kryo 585 Gold and 4 core 1.8 GHz Kryo 585 Silver. The new device will be equipped with an Adreno 650 video accelerator and 16 GB of RAM standard LPDDR5 and 512 GB of permanent memory UFS 3.1.
It is planned that the Lenovo Legion will have a resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels. In addition, it became known that the front camera of the gadget will be represented by a pop-up module. The main camera of the device will look like two main sensors with a 64-megapixel sensor.
