After installing iOS version 14.5.1, the performance of iPhones decreased. The error will be fixed in a future update, reports the Mydrivers portal with reference to representatives of the developers from Cupertino.
The update of the operating system for Apple smartphones, which became available for download in April, not only delighted users with new features. Not without problems. It turned out that owners of devices such as the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 complain about slowdowns, slowdowns in the interface and performance drops in games.
It looks like Apple is already solving the problem. The company is reportedly preparing an update to its operating system – iOS 14.6, which is in beta testing. Officially, the new operating system will be available for all users in a couple of weeks. The update is planned to address the bugs in iOS 14.5.
The next version of the operating system – iOS 15 – will be presented at the Worldwide Developers Conference, which will be held on June 7. The operating system will reach iPhone users in the fall of 2021.
Earlier, in February 2020, the French consumer protection agency fined Apple 25 million euros for failing to alert users about an update that slows down iPhones.
