Different assessments of Russian President Vladimir Putin are contained in the book of a former adviser to US President Donald Trump John Bolton, some you can agree with, some you cannot, but you cannot give a General assessment, said the press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
Answering the question of journalists whether the Kremlin intends to read the book after its release and how they feel about Bolton’s statements about the Russian President, Peskov noted that, indeed, some of his revelations are available online, and Bolton’s interview was also published.
“We probably would not like to comment on his assessment in any way, as for the domestic political situation in the United States of America, this is not our business. And the characteristics that Bolton gave to the head of state, whose adviser he was for a year, are not our business, we will not do it,” Peskov said.
“As for his assessments of our President, there are different assessments; some can be agreed with, some cannot be agreed. Therefore, it is necessary to look at individual messages, and it is probably impossible to give a general assessment,” he added.
Peskov clarified that he does not know whether President Putin views Bolton’s book negatively or positively.
