William Barr urged caution when assessing information coming from Ukraine.
US Attorney General William Barr confirmed Monday that ahead of the November 2020 presidential election, the Justice Department has launched a process to obtain information about potential candidates, including information obtained from President Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.
At the same time, Barr said that no information should be evaluated superficially.
“We must be very careful about any information coming from Ukraine,” Barr said, “There are many interests and agendas in Ukraine. There are many intersecting currents, and we can’t take at face value anything that we get from Ukraine,” the head of the Ministry of Justice said.
