The Ingenuity helicopter flew over Mars and made a successful landing

The first controlled and controlled flight of an aircraft over another planet was carried out.

A miniature helicopter-drone Ingenuity, developed by NASA specialists, successfully launched on Monday morning and later made a successful landing on the surface of Mars.

Thus, the first controllable and manageable flight of an aircraft over the surface of another planet was carried out, the US space agency said.

On April 15, NASA and the Space Agency’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory announced that the first flight of Ingenuity over Mars had been postponed.

The statement noted that scientists have already found a solution to the problem but that its implementation will take time.
