THE US Secretary of state Michael Pompeo and the Secretary of defense James Mattis discussed on Friday with his Canadian colleagues-the foreign Minister Christy Freeland and the Minister of national defense Harjit Singh Sajan-the situation in Ukraine and the incident in the Kerch Strait. “We talked about our joint work as NATO members. We discussed our response to the situation in Ukraine, I expressed my concern about the recent Russian aggression in the Sea of Azov, where Ukrainian ships were rammed and where they were fired upon,” Pompeo said.
