The Galapagos Islands opened to tourists

The Ministry of natural resources of Ecuador announced the opening of the National Park and marine reserve of the Galapagos Islands, closed due to the new coronavirus pandemic.

“The Ministry of environment and water resources announces the resumption of visits to the Galapagos National Park and marine reserve,” said a message posted on the Ministry’s Twitter microblog.

According to him, the Islands have been open since July 13.

All visitors to the Islands will be required to wear masks and disinfect their hands, and the time spent near populated ports will be limited to three hours.
