The former wife of the founder of Amazon Mackenzie Bezos said that she agreed with the richest man in the world according to Forbes on the terms of the division of property after the divorce. She posted a message about it on Twitter. This is the only Twitter message Mackenzie has available for viewing.
According to Mackenzie, she agreed to cede all shares of the Washington Post and the space company Blue Origin to Jeff Bezos. In addition, it waived its 75% stake in Amazon and gave Bezos the right to vote that share.
“I am glad that the process of dissolution of my marriage with Jeff has ended — with our mutual support and all who have been kind to us”, Mackenzie wrote. According to her, she “gratefully looks to the past and looks forward to what will happen next”.
In January, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos announced a divorce from Mackenzie, with whom he lived for 25 years. In the official announcement of the divorce Bezos said that they intend to remain family and friends (Bezos have four children: three sons and adopted daughter).
After that, Bloomberg estimated that Mackenzie Bezos could become the richest woman in the world with a fortune of about $ 69 billion.
