The Foreign Ministry responded to the US threats on the “North stream-2”

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, commenting on the extension of us sanctions on “Nord stream-2” and “Turkish stream 2,” called it the use of political pressure for unscrupulous competition.

The US State Department has published recommendations under the law on countering Russia through sanctions, including the document “Nord stream-2” and the second string of “Turkish stream 2,” US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said on Wednesday.

“This is the use of political pressure for the unscrupulous competition,” Zakharova said, commenting on the situation.
She added that this is “an indicator of the weakness of the American system.”

“In addition to power techniques, there are no effective tools,” the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry concluded.
