An unknown Huawei smartphone codenamed LIO-AN00m has appeared in the database of the Chinese Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA). In terms of features and design, it is similar to the flagship Mate 30 Pro, but simpler. Therefore, sources believe that this is its Lite version. In China, it could be the Mate 30 Pro Youth Edition, and in the international market, it could be the Mate 30 Pro Lite, although the name is, of course, strange.
The novelty has the same 6.53-inch display with a resolution of 2400×1176 pixels, an eight-core chip with a frequency of 2.86 GHz, as well as 6, 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128, 256 or 512 GB of storage. The battery capacity is 4400 mAh, there is support for 5G and the operating system Android 10.
But the cameras of the smartphone are simpler: a 16-megapixel front camera (Mate 30 Pro has 32 megapixels) and a 32 megapixel main sensor (instead of 40 megapixels).
When Huawei will present the new model and how much it will cost is still unknown.
