The flagship ASUS Zenfone 8 will return a 3.5 mm headphone jack

In last year’s Zenfone 7 flagships, ASUS removed the 3.5mm headphone jack, although the Zenfone 6 lineup still had it. The bug will be fixed with the release of Zenfone 7 this year.

It looks like ASUS listened to users who were not happy with the lack of an audio jack and returned the 3.5mm output to the Zenfone 8 line. The manufacturer confirmed this in social networks.

True, it is not yet clear whether we are talking about all the models or about a specific one, because three models are expected in the ASUS Zenfone 8 family: Zenfone 8 mini, Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Pro. So far, more information about the most compact of them. The Zenfone 8 mini is credited with a Snapdragon 888 processor, a 120Hz 5.92-inch OLED display, 30W fast charging, and a dual main camera with Sony IMX686 and Sony IMX663 sensors.

Recall that the official presentation is scheduled for May 12.
