The final episode of “Supernatural” will focus on the story of Dean and Sam

A little more than a week is left until the moment when “Supernatural” returns to the screens after a six-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. And while there are seven more episodes in total, fans are most worried about how the twentieth episode of the fifteenth season will turn out, which will end the entire show. And, according to Andrew Dabb, you shouldn’t expect any new investigations from the ending, which is quite logical.

In a recent interview, the screenwriter said that the final episode will be dedicated to the end of the personal history of the Winchester brothers (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles). Showing where the long road has taken them is an important step towards the show ending properly, as Sam and Dean are already loved ones for fans. Although, of course, it’s still curious to see how the ending of the brothers’ story will be connected with the general storyline of the season, which implies the involvement of the son of Lucifer to kill God.

Dubb confirmed that the culmination of events and most of the large-scale actions will fall on the nineteenth episode, and therefore in the finale, all attention will turn out to be paid to Sam, Dean and the completion of their family history.

We wrap up most of the mythology in episode nineteen. The twentieth episode revolves around the characters and is more about Sam, Dean and the family they have gathered around them, said the screenwriter.

Such a “family” orientation of the final episode, which will last two hours, will certainly be to the taste of the fans and will brighten up the bitterness of parting a little. Although it is possible that they will still be able to see Sam and Dean in the future: Ackles and Padalecki believe that it is possible. “Supernatural” returns on October 8 and retires on November 19.
