The doctor called the signs of the effectiveness of the administered COVID-19 vaccine

Dr. Amanda Cohn of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases of the United States told what signs indicate the effectiveness of the administered coronavirus vaccine.

According to her, you can understand that the drug “works” by the pain at the injection site, fatigue, and elevated temperature — in the range of 37.1-38 degrees. This reaction may occur after the second injection and persists for several days.

Cohn explained that all these signs should not be of concern since the vaccine does its job of strengthening the body’s defenses to fight the virus.

“This is not COVID-19. It is your body that forms an immune response to a protein that mimics the disease,” the specialist said on the Twitter account of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.
