The death toll of passengers who capsized in California ship rose to four

Another 24 people were hospitalized, reports the portal Axios.

The death toll from the incident with the capsized ship in California has increased to four. This was reported on Monday by the news portal Axios with reference to the rescue service of San Diego.

“A total of 29 passengers were reported on the ship, 24 of whom were hospitalized, four were declared dead by the local medical service, and another is in critical condition,” the service said in a statement.

Information about the cause of the incident has not yet been provided.

A boat with several dozen people on board capsized on Sunday at the Cabrillo National Monument near San Diego. Earlier, the rescue service informed about the two dead.
