The cheapest Tesla electric car will be released in 2023

At Tesla Battery Day last year, Elon Musk announced that Tesla would launch an affordable $25,000 electric vehicle that will also be fully autonomous. The other day, at a meeting with employees, the head of the company told new details about the project.

According to Musk, Tesla intends to begin production of the new electric vehicle, which has already been dubbed the Tesla Model 2, in 2023. Moreover, Elon seems to have conceived a rather interesting model – completely self-driving and, possibly, without a steering wheel and pedals.

“Do we want this car with steering wheel and pedals?”

By the way, back in 2019, Tesla presented an image of a car without a steering wheel and pedals and stated that the goal is to release such a car within two years:

But this, of course, does not mean that the regulatory authorities will allow such a car to be released on the roads.
